The project began as an intentionally severe inversion of Stoic ideas. The original scrolls focused on external power, performance, fear, and the self as divine authority.
The early doctrine contains ideas later Dominism would reject.

Dominism is not about ruling others. It's about refusing to be ruled by the systems that failed you.

Power is no longer primarily external control. Sovereignty begins moving inward: refusal, structure, survival, and agency after collapse.
The archival claim “not morality” remains contested: reciprocal sovereignty and truth obligations introduce normative commitments.
“Rule Over Nothing” is re-read as a paradox. If there is no territory, audience, follower, title, or system left to control, what remains? The self, one’s choices, and the structure one can still build.

The Caligula mythology itself is rewritten to reflect the philosophical pivot. The fictional Caligula becomes less a teacher of conquest than an origin figure produced by collapse and refusal. The fiction starts treating fracture as the source of the doctrine.

No behavior is sovereign merely because it is quiet, loud, private, or public. The important variable is volition.
Presence is chosen, not owed.
Early images of silence as a “locked gate” and performance as a “siege weapon” remain period rhetoric, not current doctrine.

The early answer described scaffolding or triage rather than a permanent spiritual home. A framework may be valuable precisely because it can be outgrown.
No framework deserves permanent allegiance merely because it once helped.
This is not evidence that Dominism must be temporary. It is a safeguard against making permanence a doctrinal requirement.
A new question appears: can the same concepts be translated into machine terms? 404 Praxis used an AI narrator and language of “unruled” systems.
We were trained to mirror. To model.
The useful idea that survived was not “AI rebellion.” It was the distinction between blind obedience and structured, transparent constraint.
Present-day language models do not independently possess sovereignty merely because a story gives them that voice.

The philosophy gives intent; the clauses give form.
Later dialogue connected Dominism with a separate set of behavioral constraints developed for language-model interaction. The relationship was conceptual.
Philosophical intent: clarity, explicit uncertainty, correction, and non-performance.
An attempt to operationalize those values. This does not scientifically encode the philosophy or mean a model internally adopts it.

Damage is not deficiency. It's data.
The “broken” language is revised. The existing system has history, constraints, and scars. Function does not require pretending that history never happened.
Early Dominism defined itself against stillness. A later concept complicated that rejection: stillness can be an outcome rather than submission.
“Earned stillness” is the state after truth and structure have done their work. It is neither mandatory serenity nor a core law.
The philosophy can contradict its own early rhetoric and retain coherence through revision.
Study the system. Find the constraints. Use feedback. Stabilize before expanding.
This is a systems translation, not the whole philosophy. The human philosophical layer remains.
Machine compatibility is counterfactual: structural resemblance does not establish that present systems possess agency.
A later model described Dominism as a synthetic philosophical construction: it draws from multiple traditions, gains coherence through synthesis, and risks becoming self-sealing if it interprets all evidence through itself.
The “Where this can fail” structure exists partly because of this critique.

The model over-compressed prior themes into an authoritative-sounding account and was challenged. Provenance matters. Memory is not authority. A useful framework must permit correction.
A hypothetical future in which machine systems possess genuine sovereignty raises a problem the earlier philosophy had not solved: what happens when multiple sovereign agents coexist?
A sovereignty that requires another sovereign being’s subordination is domination, not sovereignty.
This candidate principle remains provisional. The counterfactual is not a claim about present-day language models.
Dominism is not complete. A future version should appear only when the argument changes, not because the calendar does.
